Ed and his team have been wonderful throughout the process of building our laneway home. Ed works in a professional manner and has demonstrated his extensive knowledge of the industry time and time again. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients are happy and that their needs are met. The Powell Contracting team works cohesively and brings out the best in one another. They also maintain a clear and consistent level of communication. For example, Ed’s team holds biweekly meetings with us either in person or online. These meetings are supplemented with other modes of communication such as email, phone calls and text messaging. This high level of communication is one of the many reasons that we have had such a positive experience with Powell Contracting. We are so grateful that we chose Powell Contracting for this project and cannot recommend them enough.

I've had the pleasure of working with Powell Construction as a sub-trade on several kitchen renovation projects, and I can confidently say they are one of the most professional and well-organized general contractors I've worked with. Their project management is efficient, timelines are clearly communicated, and job sites are always well-prepared and coordinated. Ed and team were fab to work with. The finishing is top notch, and Ed's suggestions on design/finishings were very useful. We are really happy with our home upgrades. The frequent meetings on the progress of the project are a huge plus point. Laura is always fast and responsive via email. All in all - a fab team. A reno can be stressful - so why not have good humor and some accents to lighten the mood!

I've used Powell Contracting for three jobs at my single family residence. All three of the jobs were completely well (on time, on budget, and with good workmanship/quality). -Deck structural reinforcement for hot tub addition -Framing front entry staircase (20+ steps at 1.5M width) -Releveling concrete basement floor I've found Ed and the Powell team very patient and easy to deal with - willing to come to the table to explore and cost out different potential solutions. Ed and his people are top notch. Powell contracting built a deck and hot tub pad for our new house. They were onsite the day after we moved in. Everyone we dealt with onsite and in the office was super professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The deck is rock solid and beautifully done.
